    People forget that Before Sky starting doing the premiership in 1992
    football on tv was rubbish. ITV had the rights the 4 seasons before and
    didnt even show a live game every weekend. I remember the live matches
    didnt start until November and there coverage was crap. There wasnt any
    highlight programme on a saturday night like there is now with Match of the
    day. ITV used to quickly show just the goals from the other games at half
    time during there sunday live match. Thank god for Sky sports!!
